I am a printmaker, artist and teacher of art & design with a passion for preserving traditional printmaking processes through my small business, The Humber Printmaker, which I started in 2020. My focus is on creating letterpress prints inspired by the area I live in, combining local landmarks with an eclectic mix of words.
I am an avid collector of vintage presses and type, and like to learn and apply new techniques and approaches to the prints and printed goods I create.
I am dedicated to sharing my printmaking skills, delivering workshops and drop-ins.
Ultimately, I love the experimentation and anticipation of joy that all types of printmaking brings.
I am also a member of People Of Print, an international community of creative and commercial printmakers, illustrators, designers with the purpose of educating and inspiring.
From jewellery making to basket weaving, learning new upholstery skills and fabric printing, or illustrating with watercolours, a Ropewalk workshop can be the perfect gift for someone to indulge their creative side.
