Twisted thread runs various classes for sewers and crafters of all abilities. Currently we run a weekly Tuesday and Thursday patchwork class (9.30-11.30) and a mixed media class on a Wednesday (10-12). Customised classes are offered at various weekends as and when we can, with one of our popular classes being freestyle machine embroidery.
To find out more information about the classes and what else we do please contact Carole at carole.hussey@btinternet.com or pop into unit 12 at the Fathom Works.
Nigel holds these exclusive classes in his very own cookery school kitchen so you can enjoy the pleasure of cooking in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All the equipment we use is similar to what you will find in domestic kitchens up and down the country so whatever you learn you can recreate in your own home.
We limit our class size to a maximum of 8 so it doesn’t matter whether you’re an accomplished cook or can only switch on a kettle, we have the time to teach everyone some new skills and give you the individual attention you deserve.
All our courses, whether it be a half day session or a full day course with lunch, are fully hands-on and at the end of the class you can take your dishes to enjoy at home.
All courses and classes are held in Nigel’s kitchen at The Ropewalk in Barton upon Humber. Personalised gift vouchers are available for all our courses if you’d like to treat someone special to the ultimate cookery experience whether it’s for a birthday, anniversary, Christmas or just to say ‘thanks’.
