Simon Sharp makes traditional and hand thrown ceramics. Simon's ceramics act as a 3D canvas upon which to paint, the clay is an earthenware mix and he uses coloured slips as a palette to daub, flick, scraffito and decorate the pieces, satisfying his preoccupation with mark making.
