Benjamin Partridge The Owlery
The Owlery is the studio name of printmaker and textile artist Benjamin Partridge. Benjamin is a self-taught printmaker and textile artist favouring bold, maximalist designs, providing homeware and accessories for colour loving people. Designing and making homeware, giftware and accessories with original surface pattern designs, The Owlery specialises in printed textiles with bold repeat pattern designs.
All designs feature birds and mammals from the British Isles and beyond, representing a fascination with colour, shape and the natural world. Benjamin is an avid bird watcher and illustrator with a particular love of everyday garden birds that can often be overlooked. Each piece of home and giftware is handmade in its Sheffield studio in small batches and printed with eco-friendly processes and derived from a range of original screen prints and lino cuts.
Benjamin sells and exhibits his work both nationally and internationally through shops, galleries and nature reserves and at some of the most prestigious craft events in the UK.
